At Seeds of Change Counseling Center, we recognize that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. As compassionate professionals, we understand that everyone may need a helping hand at times.
With over 24 years of experience in the field of mental health, Stacy Lynn Harris, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. As the owner of her own practice, Stacy specializes in treating anxiety, PTSD, panic, depression, and neurodivergence, with a particular focus on women's care, although her practice is open to all, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Stacy holds a BA in Psychology from Morehead State University (1997) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky (2000). She has spent much of her career honing her skills and deepening her knowledge to provide the best care possible. Stacy's therapeutic approach combines Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness Skills Training, and Trauma-Informed Care, offering a holistic and personalized approach to healing.
From a young age, Stacy knew she wanted to become a therapist. Her interest in differential diagnoses began in the 6th grade, influenced by her parents' work in behavioral health. Today, she continues to apply this early curiosity in her clinical practice, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, individualized care rooted in empathy and expertise.
Whether you are dealing with trauma, stress, or everyday life transitions, Stacy is here to guide you toward healing and growth in a safe and supportive environment.
Hi there, my name is Rebecca Darling, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Seeds of Change Counseling Center. I have a deep passion for helping others overcome their struggles, experience healing and growth, and ultimately build happier lives for themselves through the therapeutic process. I have experience working with neurodivergent clients (both ADHD and Autism), clients with significant trauma backgrounds, and a range of other concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal struggles, and more. I have worked with clients of all ages, but have the most experience with teens and adults. My approach as a therapist is highly relational and incorporates strategies from a variety of modalities, such as DBT, REBT, existential, and more. I strive to sit with clients in their mess, authentically but without judgment. Some of my central values as a therapist are: empathy, problem solving, acceptance, strengths awareness, and cultural sensitivity. Deciding to go to therapy takes guts, and I want you to know that taking this step towards that journey is something to be proud of!
