Our Counseling Team

At Seeds of Change Counseling Center, we recognize that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. As compassionate professionals, we understand that everyone may need a helping hand at times.

Stacy Lynn Harris, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Practice Owner

With over 24 years of experience in the field of mental health, Stacy Lynn Harris, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. As the owner of her own practice, Stacy specializes in treating anxiety, PTSD, panic, depression, and neurodivergence, with a particular focus on women's care, although her practice is open to all, including the LGBTQ+ community.

Stacy holds a BA in Psychology from Morehead State University (1997) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky (2000). She has spent much of her career honing her skills and deepening her knowledge to provide the best care possible. Stacy's therapeutic approach combines Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness Skills Training, and Trauma-Informed Care, offering a holistic and personalized approach to healing.

From a young age, Stacy knew she wanted to become a therapist. Her interest in differential diagnoses began in the 6th grade, influenced by her parents' work in behavioral health. Today, she continues to apply this early curiosity in her clinical practice, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, individualized care rooted in empathy and expertise.

Whether you are dealing with trauma, stress, or everyday life transitions, Stacy is here to guide you toward healing and growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Rebecca Darling, LCPA

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Rebecca Darling is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and has a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, graduating Cum Laude from Berea College in 2023. Rebecca has gained extensive experience through her graduate internships at Seeds of Change Counseling and Hopes Wings Domestic Violence Shelter, where she conducts individual and group counseling sessions, collaborates with treatment teams, and develops treatment plans. She also completed a practicum at Parsons Counseling and Play Therapy Center, where she led therapy sessions and participated in therapeutic interventions. In addition, Rebecca has worked with children and teens as a Teen Center Programming Associate at the Richmond Parks Department, and as a Special Events Coordinator for the Center for Education and Learning Through Service. She is passionate about mental health counseling and dedicated to helping individuals grow and thrive in their communities.
